Daniel is an associate in the complex commercial litigation practice group of SpencePC. His practice focuses on resolving a wide variety of business disputes, especially when intellectual property rights are involved. Daniel has expertise in all areas of intellectual property law including Patent, Copyright, Trademark, and Trade Secrets. Daniel offers individuals and businesses strategic counseling in commercial and IP litigation matters.
Daniel earned his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While in undergraduate, Daniel was President of the University’s Speech & Debate Team earning national recognition for competitive success. This experience led Daniel to work for several months in Shanghai, China, teaching various writing and public speaking courses prior to attending law school. While in law school, Daniel served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law, Technology & Policy publishing articles on a variety of emerging topics in the field of intellectual property law. He received a CALI Award for Excellence in Trademark & Unfair Competition Law. Daniel also served as an active member of the College of Law’s Intellectual Property Law Society.
