Why SpencePC?

Clients choose SpencePC because we do outstanding work for fair compensation. Unlike our competitors, we encourage the use of alternative-fee agreements that more closely align our clients’ interests with the Firm’s interests. As a result, our clients pay only for the value they receive.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple: be outstanding and offer a unique value proposition. Hourly billing creates the wrong incentive for attorneys to work longer, not smarter. Instead, we encourage alternative-fee arrangements that reward success and efficiency. By doing so, our attorneys remain focused on obtaining the best results for our clients in the most cost-efficient manner.

Our Skills

We are attorneys who specialize in intellectual property and complex litigation. We hold science, engineering, and law degrees from the nation’s top schools. Following our education, each of us received years of additional training from prestigious, top-tier law firms. Our billing model ensures we remain focused on obtaining the best results in the most cost-efficient manner.

Mr.Szczepanski represented dozens of leading US companies in patent litigation and preparing  right-to-use, infringement, and invalidity opinions, and formulating IP strategy focused on monetization of patent rights through litigation and licensing.

SpencePC is an IP and complex litigation boutique in Chicago, IL.  It focuses on representing clients in complex intellectual property disputes, including patent and trade secret litigation. The firm also renders validity, infringement, right-to-use and patentability opinions and prepares and prosecutes patent applications. The firm encourages the use of alternative fee arrangements (AFAs) that align the firms and its clients’ interests.  The Firm’s attorneys possess significant technical expertise and a proven record of success in state and federal courts around the country, as well as in  the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Specifically, said Spence, the new group of attorneys expands the firm’s ability to provide complex litigation services and intellectual property counselling in high-growth areas including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, high-tech, and wireless industries.
