Matthew Wilson is an associate with Spence PC. He has extensive experience assisting clients in all areas of litigation, as well as transactional matters of all nature. His practice is primarily focused on Intellectual Property, Complex and Commercial Litigation. He also counsels clients in the prosecution of trademarks– including trademark clearance, registration, and enforcement. Mr. Wilson also has significant experience with trade secret protection and enforcement.
Mr. Wilson received his J.D., as well his M.B.A., from Emory University in 2015. In fact, he became the first (and only) person to graduate from the Emory University School of Law and the Goziueta Business School with both degrees in only three years.
While attending Emory University School of Law, Mr. Wilson was actively involved in moot court and was a member of the two-man moot-court team that won the 2014 National Baseball Arbitration Competition, held at Tulane University Law School. In addition, Mr. Wilson received his Transactional Law and Skills Certificate. At Emory Law, Mr. Wilson served as the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Mr. Wilson received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, where he graduated magna cum laude after making the Dean’s List every semester following his freshman year.
Prior to joining SpencePC, Mr. Wilson spent two and a half years practicing at a boutique litigation firm where he assisted clients in Medical Malpractice and General Liability litigation in Chicago, IL.
